Description

These delightful Cotton Candy Cookies are soft, colorful treats infused with sweet cotton candy flavor, perfect for parties or a fun dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup cotton candy flavoring
  • Food coloring (pink and blue)
  • Optional: Sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs one at a time.
  5. Gradually stir in the flour mixture until just combined.
  6. Add the cotton candy flavoring and a few drops of food coloring to achieve a vibrant color.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For best results, use fresh cotton candy flavoring. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
