  • Yield: 4 1x

Description

This easy recipe features succulent lobster tails slathered in a zesty cowboy butter sauce, packed with garlic, herbs, and spices for a flavorful seafood delight.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 lobster tails (about 68 ounces each)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425Β°F (220Β°C).
  2. Using kitchen shears, cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise down the center, stopping at the tail. Gently pull the meat upward and lay it on top of the shell.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, smoked paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to create the cowboy butter.
  4. Generously brush the cowboy butter mixture over the exposed lobster meat.
  5. Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and reaches an internal temperature of 140Β°F.
  6. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Serve with lemon wedges for an extra burst of flavor.

Notes

For a spicier version, increase the cayenne pepper. Ensure lobster is fresh for the best results.
