Description

Delicious steak sliders with a flavorful cowboy butter sauce that adds a zesty kick.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs flank steak
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 cup arugula
  • 1 red onion, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix softened butter, garlic, parsley, smoked paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper to make cowboy butter.
  3. Season the flank steak with salt and pepper, then grill for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare.
  4. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly.
  5. Spread cowboy butter on the slider buns, add steak slices, arugula, and red onion.
  6. Assemble sliders and serve immediately.

Notes

For a spicier version, increase the cayenne pepper. Pair with a cold beer.
