- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 8 oz egg noodles
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In a large pot, boil the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- In the same pot, melt the remaining butter and add garlic, stirring for 1 minute.
- Add heavy cream to the pot and simmer until slightly thickened.
- Slice the cooked chicken and add it to the sauce along with the drained noodles, tossing to coat.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use homemade stock in the sauce. Ensure noodles are not overcooked to maintain texture.
