Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In a large pot, boil the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  4. In the same pot, melt the remaining butter and add garlic, stirring for 1 minute.
  5. Add heavy cream to the pot and simmer until slightly thickened.
  6. Slice the cooked chicken and add it to the sauce along with the drained noodles, tossing to coat.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use homemade stock in the sauce. Ensure noodles are not overcooked to maintain texture.
