Description

Crispy chicken tenders coated in a flavorful spice mix, baked to perfection for a quick and addictive meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Dip each chicken tender in buttermilk, then coat in the flour mixture, and finally roll in breadcrumbs.
  4. Place the coated tenders on the baking sheet and spray lightly with cooking spray.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For a spicier version, add cayenne pepper to the flour mixture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
