- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 8 ounces brie cheese, cubed
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 cup pistachios, finely chopped
- 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375Β°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, combine cranberries, sugar, and water. Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst and mixture thickens, about 10 minutes.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into small circles using a cookie cutter.
- Place a cube of brie in the center of each pastry circle and top with cranberry sauce.
- Fold the edges of the pastry to form a wreath shape and brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Sprinkle with pistachio dust before serving.
Notes
For a vegan version, substitute brie with a plant-based alternative. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
