Description

A savory tart combining the creamy goodness of brie with tart cranberries, crispy pancetta, and aromatic thyme, perfect for holiday appetizers or weekend brunches.


Ingredients

  • 1 sheet pre-made puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz brie cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
  • 4 oz pancetta, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on the prepared baking sheet to about 1/8-inch thickness.
  3. Evenly distribute the cubed brie on top of the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border.
  4. Sprinkle the fresh cranberries and chopped pancetta over the brie.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and fresh thyme leaves.
  6. Fold the edges of the pastry inward to create a border.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the pancetta is crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve warm as an appetizer. For best results, use fresh cranberries if available; frozen can be substituted but thawed first.
