Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 ounces bowtie pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet; sautΓ© until softened.
  4. Pour in beef broth and heavy cream; stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add salt, black pepper, and cooked pasta to the skillet; mix well.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
