- 8 ounces bowtie pasta
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Season the chicken strips with Cajun seasoning.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic; sauté for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer; stir in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a spicier version, increase the Cajun seasoning. Pairs well with garlic bread.
