Description

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces bowtie pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Season the chicken strips with Cajun seasoning.
  3. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic; sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer; stir in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a spicier version, increase the Cajun seasoning. Pairs well with garlic bread.
