- 4 lobster tails, about 6 ounces each
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425ยฐF (220ยฐC).
- Using kitchen shears, cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise down the center, stopping at the tail fin.
- Gently pull the meat out of the shell, keeping it attached at the base, and place it on top of the shell.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in the heavy cream, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and brush generously with the garlic butter sauce.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and reaches 140ยฐF internally.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with any remaining sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
For the best flavor, use fresh lobster tails. Pair with a crisp white wine.
