- 8 oz penne pasta
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook penne pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked penne to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
