Description

A delicious creamy pasta dish featuring tender chicken in a rich Parmesan sauce served with penne.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook penne pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce thickens.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Add the cooked penne to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
