Description

A kid-friendly favorite featuring crispy chicken tenders coated in crunchy cornflakes, perfect for a quick and delicious family meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into tenders
  • 2 cups cornflakes, crushed
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Cooking spray or oil for baking

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix the crushed cornflakes, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
  3. Place the flour in another shallow bowl and the beaten eggs in a third bowl.
  4. Dredge each chicken tender in flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat evenly with the cornflake mixture.
  5. Place the coated chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet and lightly spray with cooking spray.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway through for even crispiness.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, double-coat the chicken tenders. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce like ranch or ketchup. Kids love this recipe!
