- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into tenders
- 2 cups cornflakes, crushed
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Cooking spray or oil for baking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a shallow bowl, mix the crushed cornflakes, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.
- Place the flour in another shallow bowl and the beaten eggs in a third bowl.
- Dredge each chicken tender in flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat evenly with the cornflake mixture.
- Place the coated chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet and lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway through for even crispiness.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crunch, double-coat the chicken tenders. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce like ranch or ketchup. Kids love this recipe!
