- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1 egg, beaten

- Vegetable oil for frying
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Rinse the calamari rings under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- In another bowl, whisk together the egg and milk.
- Dip each calamari ring in the egg mixture, then coat in the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F (190°C).
- Fry the calamari in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges.
