Description

Sweet and spicy fried shrimp that’s irresistibly delicious, featuring a crispy coating with a hot honey glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 cup hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Toss the shrimp in the flour mixture until coated.
  3. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
  4. Fry the shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. In a small saucepan, combine hot sauce and honey; heat until warmed.
  6. Toss the fried shrimp in the hot honey mixture.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra heat, add more hot sauce. Best served fresh.
