- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Toss the shrimp in the flour mixture until coated.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
- Fry the shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy.
- In a small saucepan, combine hot sauce and honey; heat until warmed.
- Toss the fried shrimp in the hot honey mixture.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
For extra heat, add more hot sauce. Best served fresh.
