A creamy slow cooker meal featuring cheese tortellini and Italian sausage in a rich sauce.

- 1 lb Italian sausage, sliced
- 19 oz package cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, cubed
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the sliced Italian sausage until cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the browned sausage to the crockpot.
- Pour in the chicken broth and cream of mushroom soup, stirring to combine.
- Add the garlic powder, dried basil, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the cheese tortellini.
- Place the cubed cream cheese on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for 1-2 hours, until tortellini is tender.
- Stir in the shredded Parmesan cheese before serving.
Notes
Serve hot with a side of garlic bread. Adjust seasoning to taste. If using frozen tortellini, add 30 minutes to cooking time.
