Description

A cozy and easy dinner featuring pierogies and sausage cooked in a crockpot for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (16 ounces) frozen pierogies
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Layer the frozen pierogies in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add the sliced sausage and chopped onion on top of the pierogies.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup and sour cream until well combined.
  4. Pour the soup mixture over the layers in the crockpot.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until everything is heated through and bubbly.
  7. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
