Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For the mousse: 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, and sugar.
  3. Stir in melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool.
  5. For the mousse: Heat cream until simmering, then pour over chopped chocolate and stir until smooth. Add powdered sugar and chill.
  6. Spread mousse over cooled brownies and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Ensure the brownies are completely cooled before adding the mousse to prevent melting. Chill for best results.
