- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- For the mousse: 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, and sugar.
- Stir in melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool.
- For the mousse: Heat cream until simmering, then pour over chopped chocolate and stir until smooth. Add powdered sugar and chill.
- Spread mousse over cooled brownies and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Notes
Ensure the brownies are completely cooled before adding the mousse to prevent melting. Chill for best results.
