- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup milk
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Fold in sliced strawberries.
- Spoon the mixture into molds or shape into balls and freeze for 1 hour.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, egg, and milk to make batter.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or pot to 375°F (190°C).
- Dip frozen cheesecake balls into batter, then fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels. Serve warm.
Notes
For a healthier twist, use air fryer at 350°F for 10 minutes. Ensure oil is hot to avoid sogginess.
