- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using.
- Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and brush both sides with the honey Dijon mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165Β°F (74Β°C).
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a crispier exterior, broil the chicken for the last 2-3 minutes. Serve with steamed vegetables or rice.
