Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and brush both sides with the honey Dijon mixture.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165Β°F (74Β°C).
  5. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a crispier exterior, broil the chicken for the last 2-3 minutes. Serve with steamed vegetables or rice.
