Description

A creamy and tangy sauce inspired by Outback Steakhouse’s blooming onion, perfect for dipping appetizers.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons horseradish
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 dash ground black pepper
  • 1 dash cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise and ketchup; stir until smooth.
  2. Add horseradish, paprika, salt, oregano, black pepper, and cayenne pepper; mix well.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  4. Serve chilled with blooming onions or other appetizers.

Notes

For a spicier version, increase the cayenne pepper to taste. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
