- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour and cocoa powder, mixing until combined.
- Fold in the chopped nuts if using.
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until set.
- Allow to cool slightly, then roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use dark cocoa powder. Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week.
