Description

These easy stuffed mushrooms are filled with a delicious mixture of crab meat and cheese, making them a perfect appetizer for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces fresh mushrooms, stems removed
  • 6 ounces crab meat, drained and flaked
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together crab meat, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, green onions, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush the mushroom caps with olive oil and stuff each with the crab mixture.
  4. Place stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until mushrooms are tender and filling is golden.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a spicier version, add a dash of hot sauce to the filling mixture.
