Description

Delicate French macarons infused with tart cranberry flavor, perfect for holiday treats or elegant desserts.


Ingredients

  • 100g almond flour
  • 200g powdered sugar
  • 100g egg whites
  • 50g granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries, finely chopped
  • Red food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, sift together almond flour and powdered sugar.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until foamy, then gradually add granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold the dry ingredients into the egg whites mixture gently.
  4. Add chopped cranberries and food coloring if desired, then pipe onto baking sheets.
  5. Let rest for 30 minutes, then bake at 300°F for 15-18 minutes.
  6. Cool completely and sandwich with cranberry buttercream if desired.

Notes

Ensure egg whites are at room temperature for best results. Store in an airtight container.
