A delicious and elegant appetizer featuring sweet fig jam and creamy goat cheese wrapped in flaky puff pastry.

For the Crust:
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup fig jam
- 4 oz goat cheese, softened
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry into a 10×12-inch rectangle. Spread fig jam evenly over the pastry, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Crumble goat cheese over the fig jam and sprinkle with fresh thyme leaves.
- Starting from the long side, tightly roll the pastry into a log. Slice into 1/2-inch thick rounds and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with egg wash and bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown and puffed. Serve warm.
