An easy and flavorful side dish made with rice and onions.
Ingredients

- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add onions and cook until caramelized, about 15 minutes.
- Stir in rice and beef broth.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer covered for 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
Notes
This dish pairs well with grilled meats. For a vegetarian version, use vegetable broth.
