Description

A creamy and delicious pasta dish featuring tender chicken in a rich sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sautΓ© for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and mix everything together.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
