Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, oregano, basil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Brush the herb mixture over the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Remove from oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, use fresh herbs if available. This dish pairs well with a side of quinoa or vegetables.
