Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture.
- Fold in pecans.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden.
- Let cool on wire racks.
