- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon red food coloring
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla and food coloring.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in white chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are set. Let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For a cream cheese twist, add a cream cheese filling before baking.
