- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies
- 1 block (16 oz) Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
- Add the cubed Velveeta cheese and the can of Rotel tomatoes to the skillet with the ground beef.
- Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, omit the ground beef. Adjust spice level by choosing mild or hot Rotel.
