Description

A simple and flavorful dip made with canned tomatoes, cheese, and optional meat, perfect for parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies
  • 1 block (16 oz) Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add the cubed Velveeta cheese and the can of Rotel tomatoes to the skillet with the ground beef.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
  5. Serve warm with tortilla chips.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, omit the ground beef. Adjust spice level by choosing mild or hot Rotel.
