A simple and delicious recipe for stuffed bell peppers filled with ground beef, rice, and seasonings, baked to perfection.

- 6 large bell peppers, any color
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until beef is browned.
- Drain fat and stir in cooked rice, tomato sauce, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Stuff the mixture into the bell peppers and place in a baking dish.
- Top with shredded cheese and bake for 25-30 minutes until peppers are tender.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, substitute ground beef with black beans or lentils.
