Description

A delightful blend of fresh pineapple and crunchy pistachios in bite-sized tartlets, perfect for elegant gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Cut in chilled butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Add egg yolk and mix until dough forms.
  5. Press dough into tartlet molds.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes.
  7. Fill with pineapple and pistachios mixture and bake for another 10 minutes.

Notes

Ensure pistachios are finely chopped for even distribution. Store in an airtight container.
