- 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
- 1/2 cup shelled pistachios, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Cut in chilled butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add egg yolk and mix until dough forms.
- Press dough into tartlet molds.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Fill with pineapple and pistachios mixture and bake for another 10 minutes.
Notes
Ensure pistachios are finely chopped for even distribution. Store in an airtight container.
