- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a 9-inch cake pan.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Gradually add sugar and continue beating until well combined.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the cream cheese mixture and mix until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely before serving.
Notes
For best results, use full-fat cream cheese and let the cake chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
