Description

A simple and delicious cream cheese cake recipe.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a 9-inch cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Gradually add sugar and continue beating until well combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing after each addition.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the cream cheese mixture and mix until just combined.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cake to cool completely before serving.

Notes

For best results, use full-fat cream cheese and let the cake chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
