Description

A festive appetizer featuring a molten brie cheese baked in a flaky crust, topped with a sweet and tangy cranberry-raspberry sauce that oozes out like lava.


Ingredients

  • 1 wheel of Brie cheese (8 ounces)
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup raspberry preserves
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 egg, beaten for egg wash

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
  3. Place the Brie in the center of the pastry and top with cranberry sauce and raspberry preserves.
  4. Fold the pastry around the Brie, sealing the edges.
  5. Brush with egg wash and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
