Description

A savory meatloaf infused with the rich flavors of French onion soup, topped with melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 packet French onion soup mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, French onion soup mix, eggs, milk, and chopped onion.
  3. Mix until well combined, then shape into a loaf and place in a baking dish.
  4. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Top with shredded cheese and bake for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is melted.

Notes

Serve with mashed potatoes for a complete meal. Adjust seasoning to taste.
