Description

A delightful fusion of creamy cheesecake and fresh strawberries, fried to golden perfection for a crispy treat.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 8 slices of white bread
  • 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture on 4 slices of bread and top with sliced strawberries.
  3. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on top and cover with the remaining bread slices to make sandwiches.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Fry the sandwiches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Remove from oil and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Best served warm with a dusting of powdered sugar.
