- 1 pound bowtie pasta (farfalle)
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package directions in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
- 3. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- 4. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- 5. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and basil, stirring until the sauce is smooth and thickened.
- 6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 7. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce until well-coated.
- 8. Serve hot with additional Parmesan if desired.
