Ingredients

  • 1 pound bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package directions in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon.
  3. 3. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. 4. Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. 5. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and basil, stirring until the sauce is smooth and thickened.
