- 1 cup German chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 can (5 oz) evaporated milk
- 2 cups pecans, chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups marshmallows
Instructions
- Line an 8-inch square pan with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, melt the German chocolate and butter over low heat.
- Stir in sugar and evaporated milk; bring to a boil.
- Add pecans and marshmallows, stirring until melted.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour into the prepared pan and refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to a week. For a nut-free version, substitute pecans with walnuts.
