An elegant and effortless appetizer featuring creamy goat cheese topped with sweet fig jam and crunchy toasted pecans, served with crisp crackers.

For the Crust:

  • 1 (8 oz) log of goat cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup fig jam
  • 1/3 cup pecans, roughly chopped and toasted
  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Crackers or sliced baguette for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Place the softened goat cheese log on a serving plate or board. Use a spoon to gently spread it into an even layer.
  2. Spoon the fig jam over the top of the goat cheese, spreading it almost to the edges.
  3. Sprinkle the toasted pecans evenly over the fig jam, followed by the fresh thyme leaves.
  4. Drizzle the honey over the entire appetizer. Serve immediately with your choice of crackers or sliced baguette.
