Description

A festive chicken Wellington featuring golden puff pastry wrapped around tender chicken, melted Brie, and tart cranberry sauce for a holiday twist.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 100g Brie cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten for egg wash

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Spread Dijon mustard on one side of each chicken breast.
  4. Layer slices of Brie cheese and cranberry sauce on top of the mustard.
  5. Wrap each chicken breast in puff pastry, sealing the edges with egg wash.
  6. Place on a baking sheet and brush the outside with remaining egg wash.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and cooked through.

Notes

Pair with roasted vegetables for a complete meal. Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165Β°F.
