  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a 9-inch cake pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  4. Fold in the chopped pecans.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
