Soft and gooey cinnamon rolls with a sweet glaze that are perfect for breakfast.

- Dough:
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- Filling:
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, softened
Instructions
- In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm milk and let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add sugar, melted butter, salt, and eggs; mix well.
- Add flour gradually and knead until the dough is smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- Roll the dough out on a floured surface into a rectangle.
- Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon mixture.
- Roll up the dough tightly and cut into 12 slices.
- Place slices in a greased baking pan and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 375Β°F for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before glazing.
Notes
These rolls are best enjoyed fresh and warm. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
