Ingredients

  • For the meatballs: 500g ground beef
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For the lemon sauce: 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon flour

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into meatballs.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides.
  3. In a separate saucepan, whisk together chicken broth, lemon juice, and flour. Bring to a simmer until thickened.
  4. Add the meatballs to the sauce and cook for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked.
  5. Serve hot.
