- For the meatballs: 500g ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For the lemon sauce: 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon flour
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into meatballs.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Brown the meatballs on all sides.
- In a separate saucepan, whisk together chicken broth, lemon juice, and flour. Bring to a simmer until thickened.
- Add the meatballs to the sauce and cook for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked.
- Serve hot.
