- For Dumplings: 1 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot; cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in beef broth, mixed vegetables, salt, and pepper; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- For the dumplings: In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk to form a dough.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough into the simmering stew.
- Cover and cook for 15 minutes until dumplings are cooked through.
