Delicious cookies made without sugar or flour, using natural ingredients for a healthy treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Add the rolled oats, applesauce, chopped nuts, cinnamon, and vanilla extract to the bowl and mix well.
  4. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  6. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

These cookies are best stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Feel free to add seeds or dried fruits for variation.
