Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into patties.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side until browned. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, add sliced onions and cook until softened. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually add beef broth, stirring to make a gravy. Return patties to the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve hot with the onion gravy.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use homemade beef broth. Ensure patties are not overcooked to keep them juicy.
