Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into patties.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side until browned. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add sliced onions and cook until softened. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Gradually add beef broth, stirring to make a gravy. Return patties to the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Serve hot with the onion gravy.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use homemade beef broth. Ensure patties are not overcooked to keep them juicy.
