Ingredients

- 100g almond flour
- 200g powdered sugar
- 100g egg whites
- 50g granulated sugar
- Food coloring (red or pink)
Instructions
- Sift the almond flour and powdered sugar together in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, whip the egg whites until frothy, then gradually add granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the egg white mixture.
- Add food coloring and mix until combined.
- Pipe the batter into heart shapes on a baking sheet.
- Let the piped macarons rest for 30 minutes to form a skin.
- Bake at 150Β°C for 15 minutes.
- Allow to cool completely before filling and sandwiching together.
