Description

Delicious heart-shaped macarons perfect for Valentine’s Day, made with almond flour and flavored fillings.


Ingredients

  • 100g almond flour
  • 200g powdered sugar
  • 100g egg whites
  • 50g granulated sugar
  • Food coloring (red or pink)

Instructions

  1. Sift the almond flour and powdered sugar together in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the egg whites until frothy, then gradually add granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the egg white mixture.
  4. Add food coloring and mix until combined.
  5. Pipe the batter into heart shapes on a baking sheet.
  6. Let the piped macarons rest for 30 minutes to form a skin.
  7. Bake at 150Β°C for 15 minutes.
  8. Allow to cool completely before filling and sandwiching together.
