Description

Delicious brownies shaped like hearts, perfect for Valentine’s Day, made with simple ingredients for a gooey treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease a heart-shaped baking pan.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  3. Stir in sugar until well combined, then remove from heat.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, sift together cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  7. Fold in chocolate chips.
  8. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few crumbs.
  10. Allow to cool completely before cutting into heart shapes.

Notes

Use a heart-shaped mold for the best results; add sprinkles for extra decoration.
