Ingredients

  • 2 cups Oreo crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • For the fudge layer: 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
  • For topping: Whipped cream and chocolate shavings

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Mix Oreo crumbs and melted butter; press into the bottom of the pan to form the base.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add sour cream and vanilla extract; mix well.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Fold in melted chocolate chips and cocoa powder.
  5. Pour half the batter over the crust. For the fudge layer, heat heavy cream and pour over chopped dark chocolate; stir until smooth and pour over the batter.
  6. Add the remaining batter on top. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is almost set.
  7. Cool in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings before serving.
