- 2 cups Oreo crumbs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 24 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup heavy cream
- For the fudge layer: 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
- For topping: Whipped cream and chocolate shavings
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- Mix Oreo crumbs and melted butter; press into the bottom of the pan to form the base.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add sour cream and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Fold in melted chocolate chips and cocoa powder.
- Pour half the batter over the crust. For the fudge layer, heat heavy cream and pour over chopped dark chocolate; stir until smooth and pour over the batter.
- Add the remaining batter on top. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is almost set.
- Cool in the oven with the door ajar for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings before serving.

Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for a smooth batter. Chill thoroughly for the best texture.
