For the Crust:

  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Zest of one lemon

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the minced garlic, chopped rosemary, thyme, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Slowly pour in the extra virgin olive oil while whisking continuously to emulsify the herbs and oil.
  3. Stir in the fresh lemon zest until fully incorporated.
  4. Let the dip sit at room temperature for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together before serving.
